CHASSIS

The Spyder spaceframe chassis has the potential to transform all models of the Europa into a reliable and stable mid engined sportscars. Light in weight, yet stronger and more durable than the original, they accept, either, the standard Lotus rear suspension, or our advanced double wishbone system plus our rear disc brake option. The S2 and T/C 336 models are supplied with alternative pickups to accept the Fuego 5-speed transmission.

CHASSIS RECONDITIONING SERVICE

Spyder also recondition the original Lotus stressed skin chassis. This service involves the shotblasting of the original frame to assess its condition. Removing the front suspension bulkhead, loading the chassis into the Europa main frame jig and replacing the front suspension bulkhead with new. Priming, top coating and stove enamelling the reconditioned chassis and supplying new wishbone spindles, thrust washers and nyloc nuts.
